I lived in the People’s Republic for a decade and I miss the food. I’ve translated Liu Cixin, Chen Qiufan, Tang Fei, Bao Shu, Xia Jia, A Que, and many other Chinese sci-fi luminaries. My originals and/or translations have been in Analog Science Fiction and Fact, Apex, Asimov’s, Clarkesworld, Interzone, Jonathan Strahan’s Year’s Best, The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, Rich Horton’s Year’s Best, Science Fiction World/科幻世界, and elsewhere.
My story ‘Love in the Time of Immuno-Sharing’ was a Eugie Foster Award finalist.
Once upon a time I was an illustrator and digital artist. I’m attempting to resurrect all that.
I believe in the healing power of D&D.
